# Event Storage Metrics

> Daily-bucketed row counts of stored events for a workspace.

`GET /api/v1/metrics/events/{workspace}` reports row counts of stored
events, bucketed by UTC day, for a single workspace.

## Path parameters

| Name        | Required | Description                                                                                                                                                                                            |
| ----------- | -------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| `workspace` | yes      | Workspace UUID or slug. The caller must have read access (active membership, ACL role, or workspace visibility). The path segment is parsed as a UUID first; if that fails, it is looked up as a slug. |

## Query parameters

| `start_timestamp` | no       | ISO-8601 lower bound (inclusive). |
| `end_timestamp`   | no       | ISO-8601 upper bound (exclusive). |

If both bounds are provided, `start_timestamp` must be earlier than
`end_timestamp` (otherwise the endpoint returns `400`).

Counts are computed from raw rows in `app_twintelemetry`,
`app_workflowexecution`, `app_workflownodeexecution`, and `app_alert`.
The endpoint runs aggregation in the database; only summaries cross the
process boundary.
