Asset kits

In Catalog, choose Create kit, name the kit, and select its workspace and visibility. Choose a base asset, add accessories, and set each accessory’s parent, attachment link, offset in metres, and rotation. Save the kit. Kits appear alongside assets with a Kit badge. Their detail pages link to each component and show its usual detail tabs. Purchase and monthly prices total the component prices; an unknown component price leaves the total unavailable. Use in environment adds the components together with the saved docking layout. You need access to every component and permission to add twins to the environment. Editing a kit affects future deployments, not existing twins. Kits contain 2–50 individual assets and one base; nested kits are not supported.

List parents before children. Omit the attachment link to use the parent’s root. Rotations use quaternions in [w,x,y,z] order. Use client.assets.get_kit(uuid) and client.assets.update_kit(...) to inspect or replace a saved kit. An update preserves the existing description and visibility when those arguments are omitted.
