Open replay over a recording
- Switch the environment to Replay.
- Click the calendar button.
- Pick the date (the day you recorded, or May 8, 2026 if you’re using the suggested demo environment).
- Load sessions, no filters needed and the timeline fills in.
Camera & audio sidebar
The right-hand Camera & audio tab plays media available at the Replay cursor. Robot motion plays in the 3D scene and timeline, not in this tab. A motion-only recording can therefore replay without camera or audio tracks. If media exists elsewhere in the recording, move the cursor onto its timeline clip to view or hear it.Rows
One row per kind of data, labeled on the left. A row only appears when there is something in it:
When two sources of the same kind overlap in time — two cameras recording the same minute — their bars stack inside the row so you can see both. The row gets taller; the bars stay the same thickness, so a bar never looks different just because something overlaps it. If more overlap than fit, the row label shows a +N, and hovering still lists every one of them.
Episodes stack the same way. Two episodes covering the same stretch, or one nested inside another, each get their own line in the Episodes row, so you can hover and click either. Each line down the stack is a shade deeper green, so you can follow one episode from start to end even where others cross it. When more episodes overlap than there are lines, the ones sharing a line are drawn with a diagonal hatch — they cover each other, so hover any of them to list what is actually there.
Color legend
Open the Legend popover in the toolbar at any time. There are only three things a color can mean here:
Every recording bar is the same cyan, whatever kind of data it holds. The row label tells you the kind, so the color doesn’t need to repeat it — and it means you never have to tell two similar shades apart.
Event dots use a separate scale, so an event can never be mistaken for a recording:
A solid dot is an alert; a hollow one is a workflow step or telemetry. When several events land too close together to draw apart they merge into one wider dot carrying their count — hover to see each of them individually.
Hover to see what’s there
Hover any row and a card appears next to the cursor. Hover a recording bar and it tells you whose recording it is — the kind of data, the twin’s name, and the twin’s UUID (click to copy). That’s it: the bar’s position and width already show you when it starts and how long it runs. When several sources overlap, each one gets its own stacked bar in the row, so you hover the specific bar you’re interested in and get that source — not a list of everything sharing the row. On a keyboard, ← / → move along one source and ↑ / ↓ switch between the stacked ones. Hover the Events row and you get the events at that moment instead, in the order you need them: the twin (name, plus its UUID to copy), the severity spelled out — Info, Warning or Critical — then the event’s name and its message. The timestamp sits in the card’s header. Each row only ever tells you about its own contents, so a card never mixes recordings and events. If nothing is there, the card says so rather than going blank. Click an Events dot to pin its card open. A hover card disappears as soon as you move away, which makes the UUIDs on it hard to click; a pinned one stays until you click elsewhere or press Esc, and says so. Clicking still moves the playhead to the event as well. Keyboard works the same way: Tab to a row, ← / → to step between recording edges, Home / End for the first and last, Enter to move the playhead there — and in the Events row, Enter also pins the card.What you can do here
The row above the timeline holds what you reach for while watching — playback speed, play/pause, Create Episode, the calendar. Everything that changes how the timeline reads sits under the Settings gear beside the Legend: time reference, 3D rendered mode, and the Events filter. A setting only appears there when there is something to choose.- Scrub & play back at 1× or 2×; click anywhere on a row to jump there.
- Zoom into a stretch of the timeline for frame-level detail.
- Filter the Events row by twin with Settings → Events for. Recording rows are unaffected.
- Pick the 3D rendered mode — Depth or Point cloud — under Settings, when a recording holds both. It chooses which one the 3D view draws, and emphasizes the matching row.
- Browse sessions by date with the calendar picker.
- Create an episode — mark a window and label it as a training/dataset segment. Hit Create Episode and a short panel opens next to the button telling you which point it wants next; then click the timeline twice. The playhead jumps to each click and turns green once the first mark lands, the two marks are ruled across every row, and the range between them fills in green with its duration before the naming dialog opens. M at the playhead does the same from the keyboard, and Esc leaves the mode.
